What BCBA Mentorship and Clinical Support Look Like at The Sunshine Academy
Clinicians do not grow in isolation. At The Sunshine Academy in Broken Arrow, BCBA mentorship and clinical support are built into how we work—so supervisors and RBTs are not left guessing alone after orientation.

Mentorship beyond a title on a chart
A supervisor’s name on a caseload is not the same as mentorship. We prioritize regular clinical touchpoints: case conceptualization, feedback on session quality, and space to talk through hard moments with families. New and experienced BCBAs get structured check-ins, not only crisis calls.
Mentorship also means modeling ethical decision-making—when to adjust goals, how to coach an RBT in the moment, and how to partner with parents without burning out. Those conversations are where clinical judgment grows.
